Thistle Lodge - Quiet Garden lodge with off road parking

We absolutely loved staying here. The Lodge is in a great location and it's also situated in the garden where you feel like you have the place to yourself. The Lodge itself was clean, tidy and we felt welcomed by the added touches. We also enjoyed the Harry Potter touches (as fans). All the amenities worked and were handy and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were super helpful when it came to a few requests I made and they were lovely to meet. If this was on the TV show "4 in a bed" and asked if we would stay again we would not hesitate in circling YES!

The property was impressive quite compact and comfortable everything at your finger tips in fact it was visually well thought out and presented there was a visitors book or guest book and it was all good feedback

To be the location in terms of the directions on the sat nav’s we used three different navigation system to reach

The quietness as if it was a sound proof room and the comfy bed Loved everything that was all prepared for us on arrival including the Xmas tree & lights. Also the early check-in was made possible even though we arrived very much late into the rainy night

a little more cleanliness in the bathroom would be a 5 star standard. The dog. But glad we didn't have to meet Mr. Security lol

What a lovely place to stay, so very quiet and tastefully decorated. It has all one needs, and it's a short walk from the train station. I had the pleasure of meeting both the hosts, who were very friendly, warm and welcoming. I met one of the dogs too, who has very good manners. There is not one negative aspect about the place. 11 out of 10. Thanks both.
