Location was perfect and nice and quiet After having lived in Cockton Hill for 30 years, having moved away and having somewhere local to come back to was perfect

A welcome pack would be a nice extra eg some milk, bread, even if as an optional extra charge Egg cups would be nice!

Modern, well furnished and stylish! Very convenient for a Kynren visit.

Great difficulty with there not being enough crockery, dishes or even cutlery, without washing mid-meal! No bread knife, no bread board, no tin opener, no dishes, small or large for serving food! Please provide a few more options of dishes, small and larger, and provide for double the number of guests! Exactly three dessert spoons tricky if you want soup and dessert in same meal! Only two teaspoons in drawer! Doesn’t take much to provide a few more useful items for guests who want to cook. Thank you.

The apartment was lovely. Very clean and comfortable, with almost everything you would need for a good stay. The location was ideal for us, as we were going to Kynren. We were just a 5 minute drive from our park and ride carpark at the college. It was also very close to the centre of Bishop Auckland. It was easy to find, parking ideal, and key safe made it straightforward to access.

Only a few minor things, but nothing to spoil our stay. It would have been useful to have some microwavable casserole dishes or jugs. I had taken a meal with us, to have before the show, but there wasn't anything suitable to reheat it in the microwave with. A spare toilet roll would have been nice! There was only a little bit left at the end of one, in the bathroom. I looked in cupboards for any spares, but didn't find any. We managed, but I did take some tissues in, 'just in case'! As it was a first floor apartment, there was no outside area to sit in. It was a beautiful afternoon when we arrived, so it would have been nice to sit outside with a cuppa. As we were only there for 1 night, it wasn't a major issue though.

There were small amounts of mould round the bath and the bathroom sink area needs up grading. It stated that there were toiletries included, but there weren’t any.

There was no breakfast, but I have Gluten Free issue, so I did tell the owner not to get anything. This property is a good size with overall good quality furnishings and a fast internet. The plates and dishes are a bit limited if you are more than 3 people, but for 1 it was absolutely fine. Very close to several restaurants, takeaways and 2 super markets. Dedicated parking suitable for a larger car. Very quiet and easy to get to.

Nothing really to complain about. Everything you really need was there. Bathroom quality was less good than the rest of the property, but honestly the shower was strong and hot. Take some soap with you - that would be the only 'negative'.
