Very comfortable, lovely towels, biscuits, bedding. Beautifully furnished. Contact with Wing was great.

Access would be difficult with a lot of luggage or if you were very tall!

Bed comfortable and lucation was near north lanes. Was clean and had most things we needed

Shower did not work well either very hot or stone cold. Towel rail did nkt work in bathrokm so it was cold.Steps to apartment dangerously steepand uneven with no hand rail all the way down and the entrance was unkept and no light. Most things could do with an update

It has a good location, close to the beach, pubs, market, etc… A wing, very helpful, always answering all my questions.

The showerhead was faulty, and because of that my friend got hurt and burned by the hot water. Thank God it wasn't a child, because it could have been worse.

"The worst experience in my life"

Subject: Complaint Regarding My Reservation – Request for Partial Refund Dear Booking.com Support Team, I would like to file a complaint regarding the reservation I made through Booking.com for last weekend, from Friday to Sunday. After revisiting the listing of the guesthouse/apartment, I realized that several crucial details were not mentioned for potential guests. 1. Basement Level Accommodation: The apartment is located at level minus one, below ground level. This was not stated anywhere, and I would never have considered this option at any price. The apartment was very dark and extremely damp, considering the climate of Brighton. The humidity was significantly high, and given that it is winter with temperatures around 3°C outside, the conditions inside were highly uncomfortable. 2. Low Ceilings: The ceilings were very low. My husband is 1.90 meters tall, and the ceiling height in the apartment was at most 2.10 meters. This left only 20 cm of space above his head, creating a strong feeling of claustrophobia. The photos on the listing are misleading, as they do not reflect how low the ceilings actually are. 3. Lack of Cleanliness: The apartment was truly dirty. Regardless of the price or the low season, this level of cleanliness was unacceptable. I have attached photos as proof. The bed linens, while possibly washed, had visible stains from previous guests that had not come out. The outdoor patio was covered in dust, paper scraps, and leaves. The floor was dirty, everything was dusty, and the bathroom felt unhygienic to use. 4. Unacceptable Temperature: When we arrived at 5 PM, the temperature inside the apartment was only 12°C. I immediately contacted the host, who provided instructions on how to adjust the thermostat, but it is unacceptable to check into an apartment with such low temperatures. I had clearly stated my arrival time between 4 and 5 PM, so this was not a surprise. The apartment should have been preheated for guests.
