Spacious first floor apartment in the centre of Church Stretton with free parking

50 metres from town Main Street but really quiet

Alleyway from the Main Street is very narrow. My Mpv only had 1 inch clearance due to stone steps creating a pinch point. Nothing can be done about this but be warned.

It was centrally located and was clean and tidy.

It was generally a little bit 'tired ' and in need of some TLC. A wardrobe in the twin room would have been good.

The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed with everything you need.

location was great but if you have a wide car it wouldn't be easy. it had everything you would need and was clean

Beautiful views from every window nearly and everything had been thought of. We loved the spaciousness of the apartment and the location was perfect for us.

Couldn’t get the car down the very narrow driveway to the free parking space. One of the single beds was very squeaky!

The apartment had wonderful views of the hills and was in a great location to access wonderful walks. It was very quiet. The apartment was very clean and had everything we wanted. There are a great selection of bars and restaurants in the area and everyone was friendly. Great shopping area too! A bit of everything.

The double bed was quite hard but some people like that. The single beds were very comfy. Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable driving down the entry to park outside the apartment and parked on the carpark just round the corner. It wasn't a problem but not free. The host did tell us that this was an option should we not be able to access it.

Lovely flat with views of the hills despite being in the centre of town. Very conveniently located for access to shops and for long walks. The flat is comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we return to Church Stretton. The instructions given for access are very good and, if followed to the letter, the flat is easy to find. However, the access lane is very narrow. We have a Peugeot 307 and it was ok in daylight with two of us in the car so we could watch both sides but I wasn't confident enough to drive down it on my own or at night. That being said there is free 2 hour parking by the church which is very close. This means overnight parking from 4pm to 10am is not a problem so you only have to use the access lane if leaving the car all day or to load and unload. There are also other paid car parks nearby with free parking on Sundays
