Spacious first floor apartment in the centre of Church Stretton with free parking

Lovely welcoming flat with beautiful views. The location is excellent for walks, shops, and other amenities. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Access to the parking space is indeed tight: we did get a scrape as we rather hastily turned, and saw from marks on the corner that it had happened to other vehicles. The car basically needs to be perpendicular to the street front before entering the alley. Shouldn't be a problem for an experienced driver; we just rushed it.

Well decorated and furnished first floor flat, all rooms had plenty of space and comfortable furniture. Bathroom and kitchen well equipped. Very clean. Very quiet location away from roads but close to all amenities in centre of town and 15 minutes walk from the station. 5 minutes from a good supermarket. Nice touch leaving milk and tea bags for arrival. Easy to operate key box. Owners communicated well with good information including a video of how to access.

Only complaint was that the address given was misleading, at least to us. It was given as off Sandford Avenue. Despite the excellent video, we were looking for the turning off Sandford Avenue so couldn't find it, and had to ask a local shop for directions. Easy to find when you look for a turn off the Square. Perhaps we missed this in the original instructions? Anyway it caused great difficulty with a taxi pickup we had ordered giving a Sandford Avenue location. We almost missed the wedding we came for!! I think this could be clearer.

Fantastic location, close to the station and for walking straight into the Shropshire Hills.

A few more kitchen chairs so everyone (5 of us) could eat in the kitchen together would be good.

Very roomy. Had everything I needed for my short stay. Very central.

Very tight access to the parking spot but ok if you have a small or medium sized car.

It was a lovely stay - great location, a lot of space in the flat, light rooms with many windows and beautiful views of hills. Very clean, towels were provided. All facilities for cooking, tea, coffee and milk are provided.

The internet connection would be better. I could not do a planned video call.

Everything was wonderful. Fantastic location just 5 minutes' walk from the station (I came by train), 2 minutes' walk from the Co-op and only 1 minute from the main street with shops, cafes, pubs, etc. The apartment itself is very quiet - calming. Church Stretton is great. Loads of lovely hills right on the doorstep, and visible from the apartment's many windows. Communications from the owners were excellent, including a short video showing how to get there. Everything worked perfectly. The description "spacious" is very true, almost an understatement: a large double bedroom, a large twin bedroom, a very large and comfortable sitting room and a decent-sized dining kitchen. There would be more than enough room for four people. At one point I needed some assistance (my own fault) and had to ring up the owners, who kindly responded very quickly. Thank you!
