Birchwood House

The breakfast choice was exceptional. A continental style, but there was everything you could ask for. Fruit, Yoghurt, Porridge, Toast, Choices of Jam and Honey, etc. The appartment itself was spotless and very big. Lovely big bed, nice couch and room, large bathroom, a separate toilet and a very nice kitchen. It was only 5 minutes from the centre of Church Stretton too, so everything was perfect. The hostess was lovely too and nothing was too much trouble for her. The road is very quiet too, so no overnight noise was apparent

Nothing of note. If you were planning on self catering for a longer stay the lack of an oven would probably be a problem, but for short stays the microwave is perfectly adequate. Otherwise perfect

Close to town, immaculately well presented, everything you could wish for, very attentive host who clearly cares about her business and home. We were extremely happy to arrive at Birchwood house after a tediously slow journey on the M6 , we were able to relax immediately in comfort in this spacious apartment

This was a superb stay - extremely comfortable with an exceptional breakfast: lovely choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, home-made jams etc. Many additional touches such as cake at tea time, a choice of dvds and books, The location was perfect for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Suzanne is a first-class host and made us very welcome.

The continental breakfast was excellent more than enough to eat, and appeared in the kitchen like manic every morning. The location was easy to find just out of town so made getting to places very easy. The host was very helpful and after our introduction Suzanne left us to our selves. This B&B is like a small apartment very comfortable and private. The attention to detail and cleanliness is amazing. Don't hesitate to book.

Decor, layout spacious, spotlessly clean. There wasn't anything not to like. The Continental Breakfast was lovely. With plenty of choice of Cereals, Jams, T's & Coffee's. Since it was Easter we even had a dish of chocolates a nice touch, oh & A nice cake on arrival :-) We had the whole ground floor to ourselves including the kitchen. The host Sue was lovely The location is literally 5 minutes walk into Church Stretton High St & the beautiful Hills (Walkers paradise) We booked into 'Ragleth Inn' for our evening meal, a distance of 1.5 miles from the property. A picture postcard Pub, and the food was lovely reasonably priced. (Please book a table before arriving as does get busy around Holiday times) Lovely & sunny weekend, couldn't ask for more. Birchwood House is a beautiful place to stay. The facilities are amazing and Sue’s hospitality was exceptional. The privacy afforded is comparable to being in your own home.
