A very warm welcome on arrival. Accommodation was clean very comfortably everything you needed.Breakfast was so good plenty to choose from fresh milk,orange juice,ceral,fresh fruit and bread and pasties.Tea coffee.Was nice to come home after a day walking or days out to the lovely cakes left for use with a nice cup of coffee it rounded the day off would highly recommend staying at birchwood house.Great for walking,near to the town easy to get away on the bus for days out.One of the best bed and breakfast we have ever stopped in.Would definitely stop there again 100%.

"Luxurious accommodation close to beautiful countryside"

Birchwood House in Church Stretton is very convenient for visiting the beautiful Long Mynd and Shropshire hills and many other local attractions. It is also very close to a train station, so handy for getting in to Shrewsbury town centre. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The double room was very spacious, with a roomy en-suite, seating and eating area, all to a high standard of decoration. A truly superb continental style breakfast was provided, with plenty to choose from. With access to a kitchenette with fridge, kettle and microwave, you can get your own dinners as well.

There is space to park a small car on the front drive, but visibility is not good for backing out again, so you need someone to guide you out.

Wow! We didn’t expect such a lovely warm welcome to a decent sized suite with separate kitchenette. Everything was spotlessly clean & comfortable & nothing too much trouble, great communication beforehand too from Suzanne. Fabulous continental breakfast each morning, what more could you want from a b&b? Many thanks.
