Goxoki - Basque Stay

A very nice apartment. Very attractively furnished. Lovely light and good view from the 1st floor windows. Excellent location. 2 sets of keys. Very secure. Many good bars and restaurants close by and an easy walk over the river to the old town and pedestrian area. Great to have the washing machine and airing rack. It was a lovely apartment to be in apart from the street noise.

The main issue was the street noise. Even with the double glazing and shutters closed at night we had to sleep with ear plugs in. After a week of this it became a bit tiresome. It was too noisy to have any windows open while we were in the apartment. There was no bread knife. Picking up the keys worked ok but it was quite a hike from the bus station to the office in the opposite direction to the apartment, pulling suitcases along. took over 30mins walking.
