Clean and comfortable

For us who were walking the Camino way, it was just a little too much out of Gernika. This is our fault for not realising how much more we had to walk after coming from Markina. Being a Sunday most places were closed so didn’t have a lot of choice. Also we were awake a lot during the night by barking dogs. Again, not the property’s fault but very annoying when you’re very tired!

Location is perfect. Very helpful and friendly host. Generally very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. WiFi very good. Parking at the place. Comfortable size. Very good bathroom with nice products.

AC was not really efficient. They use a new type of AC which makes some slight coldness emerging from the floor. The bed is not enough large for two. Difficult to open the windows because of the insects so better if they put some metal net on at least one window. The bed sofa was not enough cleaned and not fresh.

The beds were the best we had in traveling through out Spain. They had ice in the freezer. They also had cooking oil and spices. The people who run the apartment are exceptional! Most comfortable stay we had in Spain for our thirty day vacation. I will return. I would highly recommend this place to any group of of 3 - 5 walking the Camino. Great value and a great change of pace. Worth every euro!

As this is self catering accommodation, it would have been nice to have some basic amenities, such as olive oil, salt etc; the type of things that can be kept in a pantry. Considering the price of the accommodation this would have been within reason.
