Scafell View Apartment, Wasdale, Lake District, Cumbria

Such a lovely apartment, had everything you needed from space to relax to board games and DVDs. Perfect place for a relax whilst also being on the door step to some amazing walks!

It had everything and was spotless. Very well equipped. Great location for Scafell Pike.

Good location and the overall fit out of the living area (kitchen/lounge/diner) and bathroom was good.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was down for the duration of the stay. The property was slightly damp (it’s a old building and the lakes can be wet in October). However the dehumidifier in the property did not work and the chemical absorbents were all fully used when we arrived. As someone who’s 6’7” tall the footboard on the end of the double bed meant I could not lie flat.

Very cozy house, beautiful view from the window. Lots of small things, giving a unique charm to this flat. We received detailed instructions on how to get there and it is really easy. Large parking. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Everything is new and clean.. Heating was excellent. Despite the humidity outside, inside was warm and cozy.

I was disappointed by the lack of hot water. We arrived in the evening and wanted to take a shower after a long journey. But we had to wait for hot water for about three hours. The Boost function did not work properly. The next day we had hot water for half a day. But then in the morning there was none, despite the fact that the instructions said that it was heated in the boiler all night. I would like the boiler control to be simple. A little strange shower control. To change the water temperature or turn it on, turn it off, you need to open the shower stall door, since the control handle is from the outside. A little slow WI-FI, but quite enough for a messenger and website reading. I wouldn't like to see cobwebs on lampshades, but it's easy to clean. Basically, the flat looked very clean and well maintained.
