Scafell View Apartment, Wasdale, Lake District, Cumbria

Nice and clean, good location, close to Wastwater. Peaceful and cosy.

We had specifically searched for somewhere with a fire, and were disappointed to find it was electric. Not a huge issue but just not what we expected. Otherwise lovely property.

Location and the view. Clean, tidy and well equipped apartment. access to Scafell Pike. Good cycle routes. Quiet area of the Lake District.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit feeble.

Fantastic location

The time I reached it was dark and raining. It was said in the instruction that apartment is located in Stuart House, but there were 3 buildings, it was difficult to figure out which one was Stuart House as no building have any name plate. A small name plate written "Stuart House" would make it easier to find.

excellent communication with owners. Great description of the location, parking, facilities. Apartment was clean, well equipped. Very cozy and comfortable. The views from apartment windows are spectacular. Lots of amazing walks straight from the door step. My friend and I stay over Christmas. It was very quiet everywhere and we had absolutely the best, relaxing, time ever. I personally found very peaceful not to have any reception on my phone anywhere around the accommodation but it may bother someone. There is no reception. Wifi in the apartment works well but it is not the strongest. I will recommend to read all the travel information before you travel and check maps etc. My friend was clever, did not read the info and get lost :))) Read all the info in the apartment booklet. Than you will be able to easily navigate your self thru heting, hot water etc. I wish I can live permanently in place like Scafell view apartment. :) For nature, walking/hiking lovers it is a true gem apartment to stay. I all ready booked another stay. Enjoy everybody. You will love it.

Stunning location. Beautiful apartment. Nice and war. Easy instructions to work all things neccesary. Heating, smart TV etc. Landline provided which was a bonus to call elderly mother when no moble reception.

Shower flow was too slow (more of a sprinkle).

It’s so cosy and cute can’t wait to return again!

The location is perfect; great base to explore Wasdale. The apartment comes with everything you might need for a long weekend.

The shower (even when using the boost) isn't great (lacks pressure), and unfortunately, there is mould growing on the corners of the ceiling in the main bedroom. Apart from that the apartment is great!
