Beach Retreat

Fantastic location. Beautiful building and apartment very comfortable.

Unable to speak to the host, despite many phone calls and leaving messages there was no response from them. We had a problem because there wasn't a key left in the keybox when we arrived, so after a long journey from Bournemouth, we were unable to get into the apartment. Apparently the cleaner had not put it back in the keybox after cleaning the apartment ready for us. We eventually got the key but we then had to rush getting ready to meet our family and friends for our meal reservation at a local restaurant. We could have done without this problem.

Beautiful property in an amazing location. It was also really clean and modern. Simple things like a great shower make a big difference!

Poor WiFi and given there was no dishwasher (as expected, one wasn’t listed), a dish drainer would have been really helpful for the dishes to dry as we were washing up lots.

Limited cooking equipment

Firstly the contact from the owner was first class. Louise responded to my questions immediately and we could access the apartment before the 3pm check in time, she was also accommodating when we had a problem with the car on checking out of the apartment, offering to let us keep our bags in the apartment while we had the car repaired. To have a free parking space was an added bonus. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Superb location, short walk to supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops.

Nothing really, the price for one night was the most we've ever spent on accommodation but as it was the festival, everywhere that was available were charging similar money. I wouldn't recommend the property for anyone who had mobility problems, as far as I was aware the apartment is only accessible by steps.

It was like we had stepped into our own holiday home! Very clean with comfortable beds. Easy access and right across from the beach. We would definitely stay here again, quite happily for a long stay.

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable. And nicely decorated.

Stayed at back so no Seaview like the pictures indicated. Booked two rooms as two sisters staying only one bed made up. When called was told linen in draw and as booked for two they only make up one bed. If two bed booked both should be made up. However lovely accommodation and would stay again.

Location was fabulous, the building that the apartment is in is a beautiful Victorian house, unusual and interesting. Apartment clean, decorated and furnished to high standard. We loved everything about this apartment and will return, we will def recommend to our friends.
