ATTIC BAY - Cozy Stay with Sea View

I did good choice stay here. Thanks Gabriel let’s me earlier check in & out . Excellent location, supermarket at downstairs, washing machine & dryer available. Apartment same as photos, super clean, quiet plus amazing view.

Great location, parking, and little patio. Unit is cozy but has everything you need including dishwasher, washer and dryer. Hosts are very warm and friendly and stock a few little surprises like wine and chocolate.

Just be aware that you may need to sit to bathe if you are tall. Keep the vents open so the unit doesn't get too warm.

Everything was perfect!

The apartment is in the best fishing village on the island. There are lots of good restaurants a short walk away. The town is pretty and the views from the balcony are awesome. The location is very central for the rest of the island. The owner met us on the road and showed us where to park. Very friendly. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. TV had Netflix and the wifi worked well.

One small thing is the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom slope down so if you are tall you will be bending over a lot. But it is an attic apartment so you have to expect that.

Well located with all the needed locations nearby; supermarket (in the same building), several bars and bakeries where we could have breakfast, market just over the street, etc. The apartment is very well equipped, I could not mention anything that you might need but can not find here. The view from the balcony is magnificent. Hosts are kind and always available for any requests. When we "temporary" lost our key, he came within 15 minutes to lend his. They also prepare some welcome gifts. Parking is also a great advantage but be careful as the exit is pretty steep and narrow so with long cars you might have issues or if you are inexperienced. We would definitely stay here again.

As it is an attic apartment, with certain height you have to be more careful not to curse continuously due to bumping your head into the ceiling :)

Beautiful appartamento, with a great view of the bay and everything you could ever need to cook and live. Friendly host. Who even left Wine and chocolate in the fridge and lots of information what to do on this Beautiful island.

Lobos is cute & Beautiful but if you want to go out at night, not many options. But funchal is a 10 minute drive.

We recently stayed at Attic Bay for two weeks and it was nothing short of amazing. The hosts welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine and even surprised us with a thoughtful Christmas gift. The view from the property is breathtaking—a spectacular scene we looked forward to every day. The hosts provided clear, useful instructions for everything in the house, which made our stay incredibly smooth. They were also extremely generous, offering help whenever we needed it. We couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stunning getaway!

Gabriel & Marlene were wonderful, helpful and easy to contact. The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need, also very comfortable with great views over the bay. Location everything is to hand, next-door to the supermarket and an easy stroll to the numerous restaurants and bars. We will be visiting again next year.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything. Property was comfortable, easy walking distance to shopping, bars & restaurants. Little patio has a great view to sit and enjoy an early morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Hosts Gabriel & Marlene were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage for an early arrival and late departure. There was wine, beer & chocolate in the refrigerator. The washing machine was an added bonus. We very much enjoyed our stay at Attic Bay!

On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the owner. We were given the keys and all necessary information we needed to make our stay, all we hoped for. The Attic Bay is the perfect selection. What a sweet wonderful, clean apartment. It has all the comforts you need. The owners took pride in their holiday apartment. The decor is creative and perfectly done for The Attic Bay. They made sure travelers would be comfortable. The location made our stay perfect, as it was close to everything we needed in delicious variety in dining. The food was superb! Let me also say, there is nothing better than the Portuguese bakery smells to wake up to. So convenient to have them right there! We also rented a car to explore this beautiful island. Renting our car in Funchal was perfect. Went smoothly. One of our best things to do was to look from The Attic Bay balcony to take in the fresh sea air and breathtaking views! Nothing better than this! Our location views were perfect at a 360 degrees. We especially enjoyed our wonderful walks around the area. Both done mornings and evenings. Our stay was especially enjoyed due to the wonderful friendly people who live and work there. You will have a hard time leaving, and my guess is that you will return. For us, the Attic Bay was a stay we will keep close to our hearts. We already know we will return. Counting the days!
