Heart of Henley 1 & 2 Bedroom Apartments

The location, the space and tranquility. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Sam was friendly and accommodating.

L'appartement est très bien situé, au centre mais dans une petite ruelle donc c'est calme. Il est spacieux et très bien équipé. Sam était très réactif pour repondre aux questions.

La vaisselle dans les placards était sale.

Excellent stay with everything you could need and an excellent host. The communication from the owner was exceptional, Sam went above and beyond. We received detailed instructions prior to arrival including how to use various features in the flat (heating/TV remote etc), where to get cheap/free parking and some local recommendations. I wasn't sure about paying the owner directly (outside of booking.com) however as suggested by Sam I double checked with booking.com and they confirmed all was legitimate. The payment link I received was secure (not just a bank transfer) and everything went without a hitch. Sam was really responsive and happy to answer my questions via WhatsApp or email and sent us checkout instructions the night before so they were easy to find. He even let us check-in early and leave slightly later. The apartment was impeccably clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location was fantastic, we didn't realise how close it was to everything. Walkable to the train station in 6-8mins, depending on how quick you walk! Linens were soft and cosy. Love the boardgames.The hairdryer has a diffuser attachment which is rare but essential for my curly hair! Great to have tea, coffee and hot choc on-hand and some in-date milk. The flat was also very cool, which was great as it was very hot when we stayed. Loved the footstools to put our feet up after lots of walking! Henley-on-Thames is an idyllic place to visit especially in the sunshine- the teddy bear shop was an incredible find and the independent bookshop too. Definitely walk down the river towards the lock and walk along the cross-river walkway with an ice cream!

Would be great to have pods for the Degusto machine available, and a small table by the sofa to keep cups of tea.

Room was as advertised and very comfortable, having a kitchen makes all the difference to us. The communication and instructions from the team made accessing the unit and operating the equipment very simple.

Only negative, and this was nothing to do with the room, was the noise from the street at night can be quite loud during special events (we visited during Easter break). I would recommend ear plugs or noiise canceling headphones if you have trouble with noise.
