Faro Del Porto

The view from the apartment was fabulous, we had a huge balcony to sit and watch the ferries come and go. The room was spacious and light. The apartment is set on a hill so may not suit some people although it was fine for us.

Nothing not to like in our opinion.

Super from Star to finish

Appartment just above the port, close to the shops and taverns. Host very friendly and helpful. Apartment is simple but absolutly sufficient with a little kitchenette and big balcony where you can enjoy view either to mountains or to the port. We travelled around the whole island and I personally think that Poros is the best location. It has shops, taverns, post office, port and boat cruises available, amazing bakery in the centre and at the same time it is small and cosy place, not overcrowded. And not to forget - just around the corner in direction to Skala, there is a long pebble beach with crystal clear blue water and almost nobody on it :-)

We had a great stay here and would love to return. Very friendly owner and the room had a great view of the harbour with shade on a large balcony during the afternoon. Easy to park the car right outside and close to everything Poros has to offer.

Would have been good with a trash can for the kitchen area.

Perfect location for us, great views. Spotlessly clean. Room layout meant we could see the sun come up while lying in bed! The right about of kitchen facilities including a freezer at top of the fridge. Antonis the host was welcoming and always available if we had any questions

Location and cleanliness

Shower too small and flooded each time after use.

There’s was ‘room service’ where the towels, the room cleaned & bed made daily. Amazing views and very close to the harbour

The shower was too small for the size of the room. I kept flooding the floor leaving the floor towel soggy wet. Also when u put the kettle on it short circuit the wiring causing the fuse to blow out. Not a problem to fix as the fuse box was in the room and u can just flick it back up

Location and the view from the room. Short walk to the harbour and the main town. Lots of lovely eating placed nearby. Short drive to clean beaches. Antonis is a friendly and polite host. The room was a good size with a fridge and basic cooking facilities (if you feel you have to cook!). Comfortable bed and very good views of the sea.

The bathroom was small and the shower had a curtain around it - functional but not ideal.

vistas al mar” y “vistas laterales”

Importante a tener en cuenta con la reserva. Pagamos un suplemento por una habitación con “vistas al mar”, pero al llegar no correspondía con lo reservado. En realidad eran vistas laterales, únicamente visibles si te situabas en la mesa de la terraza, y sin vistas directas desde la ventana. Al reclamar, nos indicaron inicialmente que todas las habitaciones eran iguales y que no había disponibilidad. Tras contactar con Booking y mostrar varias opciones comparables, finalmente nos asignaron la habitación correcta. Sería recomendable que se especifique claramente la diferencia entre “vistas al mar” y “vistas laterales”, ya que no son lo mismo. Por lo demás, la estancia fue muy buena: cama cómoda, buena ubicación y excelentes vistas una vez en la habitación correcta. Frigorífico en buen estado, todo limpio, utensilios de cocina adecuados y cambio de toallas cada dos días. Silencioso y buena ubicación. Llevad anti mosquitos.
