The staff were friendly and helpful. Immaculately clean facilities. Would definitely stay again!

Garden needs an update where there are a few small holes which our daschund found and got stuck in and no fence at the back wall which he scaled no issue 🤭

Great location for our needs and the pub is next door, which works very well. Inside the house was very clean and well prepared

Very roomy. Garden access was lovely, although not maintained. Pub and beer garden lovely.

No tea or coffee in the accommodation. No mirror in the upstairs bathroom. No dishcloths/scourer to enable washing up. Fitted sheet on bed slipped and mattress cover underneath was full of visible dark brown hairs! Not ours! Nothing to allow the fire to be lit. No footstool for comfort.

Lovely little cottage ideal next door to the pub which we used for meals and drinks. Value for money food was lovely and staff were very friendly. Cottage clean and tidy nice clean towels and fresh bedding. Well equipped and good location

Upstairs shower leaking on second day and was dripping through the ceiling in living room. Informed a member of staff who said she would report it to management.

Staying at The Brown Cow has almost become a tradition for us while staying in Dalton. The good news is, it just keeps getting better each time. The cottage is the ideal size with a decent kitchen and, of course, great pub food next door.

We could do with a mirror in the upstairs bathroom.
