Apartment Portonovo Casa Martin - swimming pool - good Wifi - Old Town

It was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful pool area. So convenient to Supermarkets and Harbour. Very quiet at night. Great hosts. Could call anytime and Oliver will drop in. Home from Home feeling.

Could not find anything not to like.

It was spotless clean, comfortable bed, soft pillows, there was body wash & shampoo left here, and suncream. Plus sidebar had a washing machine and detergent so we could wash & dry the same day! Lovely little kitchen with everything in it. Nice little area outside to sit in the evenings or for morning coffee. The host was kind and gentle and even organised our early morning taxi back. He sent us a list a places to eat & left water in the fridge

I didn’t realise the amount of hills & steps in Lanzarote, had I have known this I would have stayed closer to the main areas, as there is quiet slot of walking in the heat! And it’s uncomfortable. There is also a lot of steps up to the apartment once you arrive, the ladder into the pool was wanky and unsafe at one end. And it’s a very deep pool. So if kids are playing there they need armbands or inflatables for safety. There was no aircon in the apartment, so we had to leave all windows open! And a lot of cats were around!!! ALOT!! Taxis were cheap, but some of them drove like maniacs! So we opted to walk alot of the times! I also seen quite a lot of spiders in the apartment, little ones! And I feared they were bed bugs! We had some bites also!

Superb apartment, it had everything except air conditioning

The only fault was that there was no air conditioning

Mi estancia en el apartamento estuvo muy bien, está cerca de la playa, cerca hay supermercados, restaurantes y ocio. Y Oliver es majísimo, nos mandó un WhatsApp para decirnos que podíamos entrar antes de las 15:00. Lo recomiendo

No hay nada que no me gustara

It was just what we needed. Had everything we needed too. It was very close to the Old town and harbour so there were lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Also the host who met us was very nice. He made sure we had everything we needed. The pool had a lovely view.

Nothing. The place was perfect for us.

Great little gem in Puerto del Carmen, everything is close by within walking distance. The property is nice and clean and has everything you need Including a washing machine which is really handy. The kitchen and bathroom contains the basics for cooking and cleaning. Bed is really comfortable! Best sleep ever. Oliver was a lovely host, friendly, informative and always on hand to help if needed, he checked in to make sure we were happy with everything and even helped is with taxis for excursions and booked one for us to get back to the airport.

The pool was ok the ladder to get down and up from the water is wonky and one side of the handle isn't fixed properly but other than that it was clean. Sun beds are also ok, slightly uncomfortable and could do with some sort of padding/cushion.
