Great location close to (but not bothered by) train station- clean, comfortable with brilliant sea views- open a window and hear the surf crash- absolutely top notch.

We loved the location - right on the sea. It was wonderful listening to the waves. The apartment was clean and cute. We appreciated that there was coffee there for us

The weather wasn’t great and since it was off season a lot of things were closed.

The apartment is in a beautiful location right on the water. Once you open the floor to ceiling glass doors, you let the sea and the fresh salty air in. It is relaxing, rejuvenating and calming. Perfect for a leisurely holiday by the sea.

There are many things that can be improved at this apartment. It is run as an AirBnb despite being advertised on Booking.com. You are asked to provide ALL your personal details online prior to check in. If no online check in prior to arrival , you will be invited to cancel your booking.There is no contact with the owner whatsoever, despite an acute need for instructions and directions to the property. There is no warning from the owner that the Monterosso train station doesn’t have a lift on every platform. Good luck struggling up and down the stairs with heavy luggage. There is no warning from the owner that the road from the train station to the apartment, is under repairs. You will need to lug your bags on this road, and hold your breath against a sidewall every time a car wizzes past. The furniture and furnishings are dated. The door locks are difficult to work with the keys provided. Of course there will be nobody to let you in if you are struggling.The TV is not easy to work if you don’t speak Italian. You will need to use your own Netflix etc account as the owner doesn’t provide access. You will be expected to walk your rubbish out to one of the public bins in the middle of Monterosso. You will be reminded multiple times though to leave the city tax on the table just before check out. The only limited communication with the owner is in very limited English and via WhatsApp. In essence this apartment is run on the principle - we have a large volume of visitors so we don’t need to bother about details.

Perfect location & very modern. I loved the bed & pillows. We got the best night sleep here! Perfect host, place, and location!

Great sea view just a few meters from the sea. The apartment was neat and clean .

This apartment was fantastic, right on the water with everything you need. It was about a 7 minute walk from the train station and we did it easily with all our big luggage. We were a group of 4 and rented both rooms, which shared a little entrance room closed off from the outside, so these rooms are great for groups traveling together. The views are incredible, we could look at that rock all day. It was about a 7-10 minute walk from the heart of town and there there are also restaurants on the strip within 1-2 minutes. The gelato shop beneath us was amazing, gelato everyday. And a coffee shop right below as well was nice to have. We did some hikes and a day trip to Portofino during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay in these apartments and would stay again.

Shower too small and no where to put soap of things. Toaster not replaced. Sheets and towels old, grey, holes, poor quality. Bed and furniture substandard. Bed old and saggy. Limited cooking equipment.
