La Scogliera

The location was spectacular!! Accommodation was perfect for what we needed.

A couple hidden costs. 1. Parking: We drove and required parking, the available parking cost €100 for the week. I asked about the parking before we chose to drive and this was not disclosed. 2. City Tax: we were only notified about it just before our arrival. It was €2 per day so it cost an additional €24.

We liked that it was right on the water, and we enjoyed the balcony and the views it offered. The apartment was spacious and had a washer and a drying rack for the balcony.

The room was not clean when we arrived. The dishwasher was in disrepair. The bedding and towels were thin.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the train station and is right on the beach. There are cafes close by and the town is a 10 minute walk. From the veranda you can see the whole of the Monterosso beach and headland. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area, great shower and a washing machine. The apartment was a delight to stay in and we would stay there again if we returned.

Location was amazing. So easy to get to from the train station. The view is great and the gelato shop below is so good!

The shower was a little difficult to not spray water out on the floor when opening the door, other than that this place was close to perfect!

Loved the location, modern look, clean

I would update the towels to have matching sets. I would have some coffee filters available. I would have liked an extra hour since it was a wicked rainy day and we had a later train. We had to seek shelter elsewhere. At the least, if we could have stored our bags there for a couple hours.

Excellent location with amazing view of the ocean. Larger than expected, everything looks new. Very close to train station.
