The New Mill Apartments

The apartment had pretty much everything you need for a short stay.

The entrance isn’t particularly welcoming (a jail like cafe to go through) and the front door didn’t close properly. The stairs were dirty and when we arrived at our designated check in time the room wasn’t ready so we had to leave our bags and come back later. On the final night a guest in the room above spoke loudly and non-stop from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. and I was unable to sleep. I contacted the hosts but they aren’t onsite and didn’t respond.

The size of the property was perfect. It was accommodating and perfect for a large group looking spend weekend in Newcastle. Plenty of room and was comfy

The area was slightly sketchy however caused no issues and was literally 5 min taxi to town.

Wooden floors ment it was noisy from other people in other flats
