The New Mill Apartments

The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It was extremely good value for money. The bus stop was a minute or two away and buses into the city centre were very regular. There is a small Asda a couple of minutes walk away and lots of small shops and eating places nearby. We managed to explore a lot of Northumberland including Alnwick, Holy Island and Inner Farne from this location.

The stairs up to the apartment were quite steep, especially when carrying cases. I'm thankful we were put on the first floor. While the facilities were good the area wasn't the nicest and we were bothered by a woman claiming to be homeless, who was very rude when we were returning one evening. There were however a lot of friendly people in the area and it wouldn't put us off returning.

Clean, comfortable and spacious.

The road it is on is full of rubbish.

Great location ....close to the centre with an easy bus route. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby if you need. Also a supermarket around the corner. Check in easy and friendly. Flat had everything we needed. The communication for check in was great and the owner answered messages very quickly.

We initially thought it might have been loud as a hen night staying next door but actually we didn't hear them at all so the soundproofing is better than we thought. So can't complain about anything.

Had a wonderful stay! The apartment was in a fantastic location — just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The space itself was impressive: large rooms with plenty of space to relax, and great facilities including two showers and two toilets in one bathroom, which was incredibly convenient for our group. Everything was easily accessible and well-suited for larger parties or families.. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort, space, and a central location. Would definitely book again

The only downside was parking — there’s no designated space, so finding a spot nearby was a bit of a challenge.
