The location of the accommodation is great, still in a lively area, walking distance to multiple beaches, seaside sights. The place is spacious, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, providing both private space and common area for groups, bigger families.

The overall condition of the apartment is weak. The outdated kitchen, bathroom is fine, we can live with it. But the furniture is generally very wasted, bed mats are not comfortable anymore. The kind of broken and super sinky sofas in the living room is something a professional host should not afford, even my small kids laughed on it. The kitchen equipment was also weak and sparse. On day one we bought a new set of glasses as even that was not really sufficient for a family. Some investment in furniture and equipment could improve the place to a much higer standard.

It is a gated compound so safe from intruders. Close to centre of things with restaurants bars and shops within easy reach. Bus stops and taxi ranks short distance away at end of street. Tv was good with lots of English programmes and free Netflix access. Good to have balcony access big enough for two to have breakfast in the sun.

Downstairs shower curtain did not stop water flooding the floor. Some of the power and light switches were loose and brocken.

The location is OK but is still a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach or golden mile.

The apartment was very dated and in urgent need of upgrading. Beware when booking it seems to be pot luck which apartment you get. Some look OK but I think we drew the short straw, bathrooms not nice, unsafe to shower young children as the temperature does what it wants. Uncomfortable beds, very thin sheets provided and a lack of towels. Overlooked a car park and was very noisy at night. Most lighting didn't work and lots of bodged repairs. Beware this is a residential complex where locals live, the attitude towards tourists is not good. The pool was OK but pretty cold, not enough loungers, huge amount of rules ( any usual holiday activities not allowed with signs and shouty locals everywhere ). It's also meant to be silence after 11pm but our next doors neighbours were partying into the early hours and the walls are paper thin. Not ideal with kids. Overall this is a cheap place to stay with no thrills, just not a nice vibe for a holiday.

We were able to contact the owner by phone on our way to the property and he met us and gave us the keys. We were also able to arrange a later departure time on our leaving date. This was very helpful as we were a party of six with three children to pack for. There are several supermarkets, lots of restaurants and sports bars very close to the property. It's an easy walk to the beach and to the shopping malls/attractions of Las Americas. The property is opposite hotel Tigotan. That's helpful if you're booking a coach for an attraction like Loro Parque as Tigotan is one of the pick up points. The Wi Fi was good and the kitchen has everything you need. Fridge, freezer, oven and microwave all in good working order. There is a nice balcony where you can dry clothes and towels. The swimming pool is a good size and well maintained.

The decor of the property is quite basic but we were happy with that as travelling with children. The soundproofing isn't great in the bedrooms and you can hear noise from other apartments. However that won't put us off booking again.
