Gezellig appartement met planten en leuke schilderijtjes aan de muur. Comfortabel en centraal gelegen. Vriendelijk ontvangst.

The location was good. Close to old town about 8-10mins walk to the cathedral and all the restaurants around that area. Closer to the apartment there is a supermarket, a bakery, a few fruit shops and cafes, so that was very convenient. The host Ramon was very helpful. Greeted us and explained what was available for use in the apartment. Though he only spoke Spanish, we were able to communicate via google translate. We stayed 7 nights and there were plenty of clean towels and spare bed linen supplied. Cleaning service is not offered, but that wasn't a problem. The apartment is small with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, although the one ensuite was small and that room with a double bed is also very small. It's a good size for the 2 of us we as needed privacy. But it might be a tight for 2 couples

Strangely, the windows couldn't be opened, so at times it was a little stuffy in the apartment. There is no air conditioning. So perhaps an addition of a couple of fans would have helped circulation. The humidity is quite high in Santiago de C, so laundry took time to dry. Fortunately there is a laundromat downstairs - just 2 shops away - so we were able to use the dryers there.

Very comfortable apt for three.

Limited space to open your luggage.

Lage

Good location - within walking distance to the train and bus stations. The apartment was clean and well presented. Cooking utensils adequate for preparing home cooked meals. Cafes, bakery, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.

Apartment was a little cramped for 5 adults but would suit a family with 2 children quite well. The ensuite was located right next to the bed.
