Lovely gem of a place. Had to leave a day early because of my wife not being well. Will be back again. For sure.

Lovely spot - extra large bed. This was our third stop in Yorkshire and this was the best bed! Love the dog and loved the fact they loved yr dogs - plenty of room for them to have a run

Could have just done with a full length mirror and a bit of outdoor furniture would’ve been great just to sit and read or have a brew glass of wine and take in the magnificent views!

Absolutely loved the style of this property and the location, just off the beaten track was perfect for a quiet, low key weekend away. It was just what we were hoping for. We booked as a last minute stay and weren’t sure what to expect- this exceeded our expectations.

It wasn’t really an issue for us but there was no WiFi in the property (which we were made aware of) and the TV signal was a bit patchy on some channels but it’s to be expected in a rural area.

We loved the grounds of the holiday home. Plenty of parking, with lots to explore, and our dog was able to freely roam the area safely. The location was very convenient, picturesque and quiet. The bathroom was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Thank you.

The TV - there was one on the wall, however this was awkwardly placed behind the bed and not usable due to its location. There was also lots of cobwebs above the bed area. A couple of the other guests walking through were repeatedly loud on a night and shouting through to each other on the other side of our door. I know this is something that can't be controlled by the property owners but maybe a sign to remind guests to be polite and conscious of others staying in the area would be great. Thank you.

Felt very lucky to find peaceful accommodation in a lovely rural spot at this time of year. Hosts were lovely. The loft was spacious and had everything we needed.

Was near Scarborough.

Firstly, when we walked in to the loft we could smell damp and there were no windows to open to relieve the smell. We saw black mould in the bathroom, with no effective means to ventilate the room. My partner suffers badly from asthma, so it flared up her asthma for the two nights that we stayed. There were cobwebs and spiders in every room and even in the corners of the room which made me realise that the loft was not even hoovered before our arrival. We had to buy some tea bags from the local shop (as there wasn't any tea bags supplied, just flavoured tea scraps at the bottom of the container). I understand the property was self catered, but this could have been a nice gesture. There was a spider forming its web behind my tea bags after I went to make a cup of tea and kettle was full of limescale, which put us off having a cup of tea anyway. The plates were not clean and we had to scrub the plates and remove dust from the mugs before using them. When booking, the advert mentions there's a balcony, garden and a terrace. There was a wooden table that we could walk to and sit on but there was no balcony. We think what it said we would receive and what we actually received was not the same. It is not fair that the pictures that are included on the booking page are all in the same picture gallery, as you don't know which part of the gallery is actually the pictures of the place you are staying in. There was only one toilet roll spare for the whole three days meaning we had to buy more. Through the night there was a banging noise in the living room, and we couldn't work out where it was coming from. Which made for a very disruptive nights sleep for both nights and put us on edge. The shower was either red hot or freezing cold. The shower constantly changes temperature whilst in use, which made showering a not so relaxing experience. Again there were cobwebs, but this time they were around the shower, and spiders were crawling down the shower curtain.

A true farm stay, the accommodations were impeccably clean and organized.

We stayed at Dale farm for the 2nd time for the weekend. The accommodation is absolutely fantastic, very comfortable, homely and clean. The hosts are lovely, they're there on hand if you need them for anything. Dog friendly with lovely walks, around the nearby areas, our dog loves going he's made so welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A STAY HERE, we'll definitely be booking again 😊
