The staff were very sweet and accomodating. The room/ bathroom was sparkling clean, comfortable and with amazing views over the valley. Walking to the waterfalls was easy from Munduk Clove and their dog directed us half the way ☺️ Munduk clove provided a variety of breakfast options, all cooked beautifully. We travelled to Ubud for a workshop early one morning and Made kindly prepared us a takeaway breakfast which we were very grateful for. Scooter hire and long distance transport was organised directly from the property and their driver was lovely also. Gardens were incredible! We didn’t want to leave this place.

The place is perfect. We spend only 3 days there, definately to short time. We would like to return to this place some day. The stuff was very kind and helpful - we were provided with a map and instructions how to explore the surroundings. I can honestly recommend the Munduk Clove Homestay! Thank you!

The only negative thing is the smell in the bathroom, but I guess it's due to regions's high humidity and hard to avoid.

Good location within walking trails to waterfalls such as Red Coral, Melanting. Love how it is surrounded by lush greens, peace and stillness and sounds from the streams; bonus is the they will light the firewoods at night. A very good place to clear your mind while enjoying the cooling weather and heal in nature. Service of staffs are also good.

Bath towels have some unpleasant odour.

The Munduk clove is situated in the mountains, the view is just wonderful from the room. It’s also well situated to do hiking around the waterfalls and the rice fields. Not too far from some warungs and eco café. The room is nice, big bed and a cute terrasse. It is cleaned everyday. Breakfast is good too. The staff is very nice and helpful, they will help you find your way in the village and book taxis.

The bed was very hard A second towel per person would have been nice. The toilet in the common area was not super clean (but in the room yes!)

Me and my partner had a very pleasant stay at Munduk Clove, we enjoyed the beautiful view, the quiet area and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They arranged a scooter as soon as we arrived and on check-out transportation to another location and we were happy about the transparency of the taxi prices (they had a paper list with the prices for all the locations Canggu, Ubud etc.), the breakfast was tasty as well.

Maybe cleaning the room a bit more often would be nice and supply with bathroom paper and towels.

Munduk Clove is a small place with just a few detached houses. The house was very clean and very basic. The view from each of the houses is amazing, and changes every minute with incoming fog or clouds. The staff was very helpful in providing a small fire in front of the house every night, and even in giving a walk through the rice paddies and surrounding area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us about culture, nature and the way of living in Munduk. He even acted as a taxi service to the coast, which was extremely helpful! Thanks again! :) Munduk Clove also provided scooters for rent, which was very helpful to explore the beautiful area (waterfalls, lush forest) surrounding Munduk. I would really recommend the place. It was a very nice stay.

Great location, just near walking tracks to three waterfalls. Quiet rooms, simple and clean. Fire outside was a nice touch.

You will need transport here, or pre-order food with reception. Facilities are basic, possibly not as bright and shiny as the photos. Communication can be challenging, so please be patient.
