"Idyllic escape"

The host, Magriet, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The light dinner and breakfast were excellent. An ideal stopover point on an August wild flower excursion. Tip: follow the hosts location instructions and not Google Maps..

Dont drink the tap water. Use the bottled water provided by the host.

"Middelkraal is more than you expect and will miss out if you don't stop and stay!"

It felt like home and I wanted to stay there forever. The attention to detail overwhelmed us. You were not just provided with a coffee pot, but also the grounded coffee and rusks to enjoy with it. The table were laid, and you wanted to sit and enjoy a meal. Ice in the freezer which is normally forgotten about, milk in the fridge. Water to be used. Comfortable furniture and bedding. A grid for a braai.

That I couldn't make it a permanent place to stay and had to return to my real home!
