Forest Harmony

This is not the place if you're expecting hotel standards and convenience. BUT if you want to experience the Knysna forest in a raw and beautiful way, this is definitely the place to be. Amazing walks and places to explore, places to swim and even a warm clay bath under the stars! The TP's are basic, but everything you need. Wood is delivered when needed at a very reasonable price and the staff was extremely helpful and always available. We will definitely be back again, 3 days wasn't enough to experience everything!

We were quite excited as it look like it was in the mountains. however it was SO OFF THE EBATEN track I had to climb out my car to walk through bramble bushes to get to the tent. The Reception was bizarre the person was in a bedroom gown and smelt of fire wood. I immediately cancelled the booking and tried to leave another person arrived wearing a dressing gown with Johnny monogramed on the left hand side. I could not get my car through the trees without scrapping the left hand side from front to back. we eventually got out of the hillbilly place. please remove from your platform a shocker. it had a outside long drop toilet and the bath was exposed and looked like it had a wood fired heating system.The trip was negotiated in a 4x4 and thank goodness as the small cars we passed on the muddy road were slipping into the side drop offs.

everything it was a disaster

its out right in the middle of nature and the tipi was so beautiful decorated. highlight was the hot bathtub

The concept of teepees as an experience was good Staff were friendly and communication was good

Could have been executed better, with small things like chopped wood at the fireplace. Clean bath. Tea/coffee in the room. The advert showed a photo of the dome ..that's what I thought I was getting.. only got photos of the tent after payment. Description of room said "Room with patio" ... Not true description... Rather just say room or tent

We liked the atmosphere of being in the nature. The owner took time to discuss with, which was cool. The solar heated shower after a rainy day on the bicycle was a must !

I suggest to improve a little bit comfort in (make bed perfectly even) and around the teepees (a little wood deck with table and chairs for exemple).

Peace and quiet for New Years Eve. An interesting, unique experience.

The outdoor shower in nature is quite cool

We where there for 45 minutes and decided to lose the money and go, came there the owner kind running around naked 9-10 years old. Place wasn't decently cleaned, linen wasn't properly washed. Furthermore a lot of bugs and spiders in the bed - the concepts of the accommodation are very good, but attention isn't placed on cleanliness and that's a big no.
