Villa Lena

Beautiful property and rooms - honestly I just wanted to stay in the room the whole time it was so comfortable and homey. The staff in the restaurant were phenomenal - just great people!

We stayed here in between two large wedding parties, so check-in felt quite chaotic. No one offered to help with our bags on arrival or departure, which was fine until we saw the next wedding group being personally escorted by helping staff. Overall, the hotel felt more like a dedicated wedding venue (perhaps jut a June thing) than a place with a fun, romantic atmosphere. We were the only non-wedding guests, so it felt empty, and we had to go searching for food and drinks at non dedicated meal times. For the price, I would have rather spent more elsewhere than feel like we were just filling a gap between events.

The setting is beautiful, a real Tuscan getaway. The food was absolutely delicious, and very good value for money. It had great options, with a couple of different swimming pools, and walks within the grounds. The room was spacious.

The shower and water from the taps in the bathroom was inconsistent, both pressure and temperature which was hard to manage at times. We also requested a double bed, however it was two single beds pushed together and the sheet was quite loose so the gap between the two mattresses was uncomfortable at times

Gorgeous location and views, true Tuscan feel, delicious food at the restaurant with breakfast included. Great to have the option to do yoga and art classes on site as well.

Just a heads up that a car is necessary for exploring any surrounding areas as it is quite remote and up a thin windy country road. We also had a couple issues with the room (water turned off, an alarm went off, etc) but the staff were SO kind and apologetic they even brought us rosé and flowers!

Stunning landscapes and views. Extremely kind and attentive staff especially towards our dog. They gave us and him such a friendly and warm welcome! The breakfasts were lovely too! The art workshops, Yoga and pasta making classes were amazing! Also so convenient that they had fast electric charging for our car. We will be back!

Room was a bit small.

The place is magical, a lot of thought and taste have been put into creating Villa Lena. The food is great, the wine is great, the staff are extremely kind and assisting! The workshops with the artists were something we had never experienced before. Really enjoyed them. The views are breathtaking. The whole place is so picturesque that it looks like a movie from a different era. We were there for our honeymoon and I can safely say this was the best place for it. We will definitely return. One last thing - a true testimony to the kindness of the staff. On the day of our departure the battery of our car (a rented one) died and the staff helped us charge it at 7 am. If it weren’t for them we would have missed the plane. I would recommend this place to anyone I know!

Loved the agritourismo, the whole vibe of the place, the food (dinner at the Osteria.& breakfast) and the staff who were wonderful.

Amazing views, friendly staff and tasty food

Apartment was pretty far from the main property and was badly equipped, especially when it came to the kitchen. Some blankets to make it consider would have been nice, especially as it was very cold in the evenings
