Shepherds hut Dolly wagon

Great location on a quiet farm near Keswick. The Shepherds Hut was very comfortable and well-equipped. I really enjoyed being off-grid for a couple of days.

Quirky accommodation on working farm with excellent views and great to be able to experience seeing the farm working close up. Hosts friendly and helpful.

It wasn’t as clean as I would have expected and would benefit from a full check of the kitchen area and equipment between guests. The outdoor table and chairs need maintenance. The bed was really springy and unfortunately too soft for us but may be ok for others.

Perfect little hut , bed was so comfortable, 4 complimentary fresh eggs , location is perfect , so very peaceful, take £1 coins for showers , hosts were pleasant, weather was against us but it did not spoil out fabulous stay .

Only thing was toilets a little out the way and big gate was locked at night and for me personally was difficult to open other than that toilets were very clean

Beautiful, easy to find location on a working farm. Gorgeous shepherds hut was so pretty, cosy & warm. Enough facilities to store food & rustle up a basic meal. Close to The Kings Head Hotel Pub & restaurant if want a larger meal. So quiet inside, well insulated so we got a great nights sleep. Breakfast tray option available to order in advance from the owner.

Toilets were over the other side of the farmhouse through a metal gate which could be tricky/noisy if going late at night. Showers weren’t very warm unfortunately for £1 payable for 3 mins. You might want to cover the little window in the door if you like total darkness, so as to block out the outdoor night lights that stay on til dawn.

Loved how cosy it was, perfect for a night away by myself.

Lovely little wagon- nice and cosy and gets nice and warm with the heater in there. Very good location easy to get too- 10 minute drive to Keswick town. Facilities inside are great and has everything you need- Bed very cosy and lovely chair and table outside to have a morning tea or coffee- Enjoyed our stay here.

It wasnt as clean as I'd have liked, bedding was clean but under the bed and in the cupboards and drawers where the utensils were needing a good clean. We only really slept there so it didn't bother us too much but it would have been nicer if it had just been a bit cleaner. We also read a welcoming pack with milk and eggs were included so I didnt take any but we didn't get those on either arrival or our 1st morning, shop was pretty close though so not a big problem

It was spotlessly clean, warm, cute and had everything you would need There was a bus stop near by and the option for a breakfast plate

Amazing view, comfy little hut cosy and warm. I saw a little too late that ypu cab order a cook yourself breakfast so will definitely do that for next time
