"Lake District character accommodation.on a farm..Good if u like to self cater"

Lovely location for hiking and on a working farm so lots animals around Character accommodation, comfy bed, cooking facilities and heater for warmth. Hosts, Louise and husband friendly and helpful

No screen on door window £1 shower charge seems excessive for 4 mins. I feel 50p would have been better but I guess electric is more expensive now 🤔 Stairs slippery when wet which I understand is quite often, slipped more than once, be careful Could hear car noise as near road but night OK More shelves or storage areas..and hooks to dry wet clothes

The facilities were great and the dolly wagon was comfy and cosy.

the fridge in the wagon didn't get cold enough or keep cold enough meaning some of our food went off, we also couldn't find the bins meaning we had to leave it in the wagon.

I would reccomend it...so cute and very comfortable bed very peaceful and good facilties ..near to keswick and other places .going book again for summertime.. Lovely lady who owns this lovely waggon.. Very friendly and approachable.

We love the Dolly Wagon. We have stayed there three times and hope to return again and again. It is homily and cute. Has everything you need and perfect for cosy evenings after long walks

Lovely shepherds hut, nice and warm and cosy. Great host, very friendly. Fabulous views and fortunate to have good weather mostly! Fab location.

Paying £1 to use the shower, we were not aware of this in advance, and had no cash...

Location

We were not allowed to make bbq or open fire on the farm also we had to pay £1 for shower and it wasn't included in booking offer. Little fridge in the hut was dirty inside , trays on the table and table was dirty as well. There was also nowhere to dispose rubbish.
