"Disappointing"

Inside of the property was as expected which was nice and the bed was comfortable.

First of all the property isn’t like what it is in the photos especially outside areas everything was over grown and neglected around the seating areas so it was difficult to sit outside to have anything to eat. Disappointing that we couldn’t really walk anywhere from the property safely as there one tight road leading in which is just enough for one car, which is opposite to what was advertised! The communication from the host was very poor we were told to turn up at any time and when we got there the host was rude and told me that the room was wasn’t ready and the check in was 3 o’clock. Email was sent to us before hand regarding this. Also anytime we needed to contact the host for anything especially when we checked out we had no response.

"Lovely little get away"

This is a great little gem in the country side , if you want somewhere private and peaceful with the just the noise of nature around you . Every morning to awake with sheep and pheasant calling

Bed is not that comfortable unfortunately not a lot can be done , as it is built on a wooden frame , still think they can improve on a guest book with information about the sounding area , and places to visit near by for each guest .

Beautiful location, decorated with care and details were very well done, gardens were beautiful and bird song amazing

Duvet and pillows possibly need a replenish, maybe.

It was a very nice place to stay. The Owl Hoot had all the facilities you needed. It was lovely and quiet. Overall it had what we needed fir our short stay.

"Beautiful little place to stay"

Beautiful little Shepherd's hut. Upon the arrival the host showed us around.The bed was very comfy with cosy brushed cotton bedding( perfect for a winter stay). The log burner kept us warm. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare hot meals. You will find sheep, horses, cows and ponies in the surrounding area. Just perfect. We would highly recommend this place.Thank you for a lovely stay. James and Magdalena
