Highlands on Homestead

The cabine was just 5-10 minutes outside of Oamaru and is part of a small farm. We enjoyed the company of the sheeps and highland cows and the silence of the countryside. Jenny provided us with a great breakfast an all the tools needed.

Great self-contained unit located in a quiet semi-rural area, only a short drive into town. Unit is located beside owners house but feels very private due to the great layout of the gardens. A beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of the gardens. The highland cattle and Alpacas were an extra special attraction. The lovely owner, Jenny, was super friendly, very helpful and offered lots of suggestions of places to visit and dine.

It’s so homely and comfortable! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bed linens are divine. The cabin is really spacious and the care taken to decorate it is evident the moment you walk through the door. It’s so peaceful, yet just minutes from town. Jenny is a lovely host, and made time to walk us around and introduce us to their animals. A beautiful stay, we did not want to leave.
