"A wonderful rural getaway with fantastic food, wine, staff and accommodation."

We had a wonderful stay! The farm is lovely and the grounds are very well-kept with flowers, plants and trees everywhere. The cottages are very comfortable, clean and well-designed. There is even a small wine fridge minibar in the room! It was very nice to see the animals that are on the wine bottle labels and we enjoyed the jacuzzi/spa. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The restaurant serves absolutely excellent food (we chose the 5-course tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it) and the wine is great. The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade meats and cheeses. I highly recommend staying here!

This is not a problem, just a suggestion for future visitors. - it might be best to have transport to reach the farm. We got the train from Budapest to Ceglédbercel-Cserő train station and walked the 20-30 minutes to the farm along the road (through a vineyard on the way there, but on the main road on the way back as it was raining). This was fine for us as we walk a lot, but if you aren't comfortable walking, then take a car or even a bike on the train. There is a little bit of noise from the motorway behind, but it didn't bother us.

The staff were fantastic. They made us feel so welcome. Food was amazing: big fan of the breakfast, and the team were kind enough to serve us early. The tasting menu is worth a journey on its own; you come for the food and wine, you'd stay for the welcome. And the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi...

The property and entire site was spectacular. Olga was so friendly, hospitable and accommodating. Nothing was a problem to her. I would definitely recommend it. The food was outstanding as well as the service.

The only thing I could fault is that there is no shop onsite for basic snacks and groceries. The only shop just sells wine.
