BÉNI family wine farm

Everything, even before arriving there, the host sent us instructions how to get to the property, a map of the winery, the location of the rooms and access codes. She referred local restaurants and shops, different activities in the areas and all of them were excellent.

Very nice accomodation with clean rooms and amazing breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff.

They were super nice - we had to leave a day early due to illness and they gave a full refund for the unused night, even though they had no obligation to (thank you Olga!) Check-in is very smooth, no contact needed. The spa/wellness building is well equipped and a really nice touch. The restaurant was pretty fancy, fine dining experience for such a bucolic location. I liked the bed for sleeping comfort, the mattress is extra firm. All in all, very romantic, great for a couples' getaway.

The bedroom had 2 adjacent single beds rather than a contiguous double. The electric water heater is a little on the noisy side.

We had a very difficult time finding the location. The GPS took us a few kilometers away from the site. We drove from Poland to Hungary. Once we crossed the border our phones did not work. The host was texting us information that was not on the reservation about how to find the hotel. We did not receive the messages. Asking locals for information was useless. When we finally found the location, there was no one there to show us the cottage or answer basic questions. We love the location and facilities, but we had a difficult time communicating basic information about the stay. Since only breakfast is included, it would be nice to have a list of places to eat in the area. It is a small village with few eating places.
