Beautiful cottage with stunning views. Owners were so welcoming, and there was so much to do on the farm. We did a walk to the cave with the resident guide dog, Guinness, and had a wonderful adventure tubing 2.5 km down the river. Close to both Clarems and Golden Gate. Highly recommend!!

While we totally feel this should be a screen free stay, the lack of wifi was a little problematic as my husband had to attend a few online meetings.

Great location between Golden Gate and Clarens. Beautiful farm for walks with the kids. Fishing was tough, but that's expected for the time of year.

Walking paths need a bit of TLC.

Wir wurden ausgesprochen herzlich empfangen, und bekamen sogar ein Upgrade auf unserem Bungalow. Lin und Brian sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber denen keine Frage zu viel ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Herzliche Grüße von uns Bettina und Wolf

Excellent location, 8km from Clarens and 13km from Golden Gate Highlands National Park. This is very much a FARM, not a resort. It’s rustic, unpretentious, busy and noisy during daylight and silent at night. It’s the perfect place to drop off the grid for a few days. The units are converted farm buildings clustered around the farmhouse. Eclectic and full of character. Friendly hosts and four lovely farm dogs!

The photos on the website were misleading for me. There is no mountain or dam view from our unit - just a view of the lawn area and farmhouse. The farm staff were very noisy and working right outside our unit. WiFi was not available in our unit. Parts of our unit were rather low grade. I expected better for what I paid tbh.

"Beautiful experience of nature"

The place location is beautiful, natural scenery that is refreshing A well train DOG for a tour guide around the area, real wonderful.

The kraal just next to the cottage, bring flying insects. Beds in the lounge with no toilet or bath for the those using them, travelling beyond the kitchen to reach the toilet and sharing one bath and one shower for over 8 people in the Milkshed cottage. No privacy for adults using the beds.
