Amazing little apartment! Very friendly staff, full facilities including laundry. Beautiful view of Sao Jorge, and super quiet and peaceful at night, we had a great time looking at the stars. A little out of the way so I definitely recommend having a car, and the neighboring town had very little, just one grocery store and a few bars.

the house is well situated , sea is just in front of you . it is very clean also , the cleaness is something we very well appreciated almost everything is brand new inside.

they re a lot of humidity inside the house ,which lead to strange smell of moisture inside . if you dont let the air purifier running on , the smell come back . the kitchen equipments is a biz too short everything run by three ( glasses , forks ) some missing if you re planning to cook ..... and the space is small me and wifie were bumping in each other every time. but the most bothering thing was the humidity inside be advised ...

Excellent location with a breathtaking view. The houses are wonderful, very well equipped and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and with excellent communication.

Rui was an amazing host who was helpful during our whole stay. In the evening of our arrival, on the way to the apartment we had a flat tire and he arranged a taxi for us. He even went out of his was to support us with the repair. Thank you again Rui! We fully recommend the beautiful apartment (with an awesome view) and the host.

Quinta do Basalto should be applauded first and foremost for its view. The apartment itself (1 of 4) was well resourced, clean, with the appropriate kitchen items. The staff messaged with advice and a welcome basket was left. It was a little far round the island, but staying in Pico is a quiet experience anyway.

The breakfast bowls in the kitchen were so small! Less than a handful of cereal could go in them. Also, the kitchen towels for drying things just left towel fluff on everything, rendering drying things pointless. Also, the bathroom had no extractor fan. I can see moisture being an issue in the future. Honestly though, these are all small things that may well be fixed by the time someone else stays. The house was perfect for what we needed, and did I mention the view? Amazing.

We had two bedroom appartment. There was everything we wanted and needed - beautiful property set in nice and calm surroundings, sea view, terrase, modern appartment with good equipment. Definitely, I/we would stay again and for longer time. Communication with owner was on-line. He gave us all information we needed and he promptly responded to our questions.
