USThere is a resort, and a few miles down a track, there is their Elegant Desert Camp. If you're at the Camp, meals are at the resort, and they'll happily send a 4WD to pick you up. The tents are tents, but barely. Very solid & well done. The beds are on wheels; you can roll them out to sleep under the stars! Don't worry; nothing will eat you, not even mosquitos -- it's too dry. And it is astonishingly dry. Which makes the swimming pool built into a ledge on the rock outcropping behind the tents even more surprising. It has amazing views, shade, and just the bizarre nature of a pool (fed by a well) up a cliff overlooking the desert. Swallows skim over it taking sips of water on the fly ... and it has the most remarkable bathroom I've ever seen up there. I'll let you find out. Two staff live on site full-time, and were wonderful to be around. If you like "standard resort" and AC -- go to the resort. If you like totally something else -- come here.
ATSehr schöner Pool, sehr gutes Essen, schöne Zimmer. Schöne Außendusche! Super Aussicht! Eigenes Wasser und Strom durch Solar erzeugt. Sehr coole Sache! Achtung, bei der Fahrzeit zu sesriem auch den Weg zur Straße mit einrechnen. Es ist dann eine gute dreiviertelstunde.
Es ist so abgelegen, dass es eigentlich egal ist, aber der zimmerschlüssel ist per se eine Farce. Es sind einige Reißverschlüsse in den Zeltwänden, die man einfach aufmachen kann, auch von außen. Es sind ein paar Kilometer auf rauer Schotterstraße, um von der lodge dorthin zu kommen. Keine Abtrennung zum Klo, muss man wissen und damit rechnen ;)

FRNous avons logé dans une très confortable tente, vue sur le désert incroyable. Dîner servi à table au lodge quand la météo est incertaine, sinon sur le site des tentes en extérieur sous les étoiles. Piscine avec bar sont top!
