Shanti Farm

Mr Hey and Wan Pen were absolutely delightful hosts and we loved getting to know them over the 2 days we stayed. The food was brilliant. The fish was especially good, order in advance. The pancakes were also amazing. Slept super well and awoke to a lovely bird song. Lots of nice walks in the area and Mae Kamin waterfall was a brilliant excursion.

Due to the very rural location there was a little bit more evidence of wildlife in the lovely bamboo hut than I am used to, but it's all part of staying in a hut!

Mud path way stuck badly on shoes. Need some stepping stones or gravel. We booked and paid for 2 rooms for 1 night. It was misunderstood and we were given 1 smaller room for 1 night. Hosts older, quiet couple, limited English, we thought we would be able to chat about the farm etc.

We only did one night here but we had a really fun stay and it was as basic as you would expect staying on a farm - it was exciting and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly. Mr Hey went out to get some beers for us and we all absolutely loved our food - especially the massaman curry! The property was very clean and it was great to be out in the sticks. We even saw wild elephants on the way to the accommodation which was the highlight of our trip!

There are obviously lots of bugs and wildlife around which is to be expected and there isn’t a shower - all part of the experience! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something different on your travels!

It was a very secluded location which was exactly what I was looking for. Staying in a lovely bamboo hut, the hosts are warm and welcoming, cooking amazing food on site that they have grown all the ingredients themselves. I would 100% recommend a stay at Shanti Farm.

Great houses in a remote area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Booking says it's got a shower but it's just a tank of rainwater with a bucket.

The best food of Thailand, a big menu to choose from all homemade fresh dishes. Our bike broke down and the wonderful mr.Hey and his family fixt it in half an hour ! Thank you for the amazing stay

We absolutely loved this place and felt very welcomed by these two hosts. The farm is a unique place, beautiful and peaceful. Food from Mrs Wanpen is amazing, organic and from the garden. Wood cabins are perfect to rest and hear the nature nightlife ! We don't understand how some comments are this negative. Some people should question their abilities to travel further than modern hotels ! 😉 We are beyond grateful and wish we could have stay longer. Best booking in Thailand so far !! Inmerse in nature, it is an eco cabana super cute. I just love it!!!

It would be nice having a shower if you are staying longer. We only stayed one night so it was ok for us.
