Shanti Farm

Perfect location between Erawan Falls and Huai Mae Khamin Falls. The homestay is simple and peaceful. Mrs Wanpen and Mr Hey took very good care of us. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Mrs Wanpen's cooking is exceptional! Overall excellent value.

The property owners did not know we were coming or that we had a booking. We had to go away and come back while they prepared the cabin.

It was really beautiful location, nice and clean little bamboo bungalow, comfortable, with a mosquito net. There was no shower, but it is understandable. We could wash ourselves with the rain water :D the host is very pleasant and makes really tasty food. Sleeping with the sounds of forest around was great. Plus there are the Great Hornbills right above the farm.

Localization near to the cave, really tasty food and friendly and helpful landlords. It is nice to see real farm life. The owner gave me some fruits from the farm.

Everything else, well. I bookeed the room about 1 week in advance. They didn't know I was coming, room was not prepared. Had there a dinner. It was good but they tried to overcharge me about 25%. When I counted with them, no apology for the mistake, nothing. Just don't give a crap about their customers. Room was extremely basic, not even a shower (they do have running water so I don't see a reason for a bucket shower. Room was semiclean but OK. Way too expensive for what they offer. I would go elsewhere next time...

The bungalow was very simple, clean and charming. The bed was very comfortable and there were no mosquitoes. The owners were very friendly, caring, answered all our questions and cooked amazing food. The cave and the waterfall were nearby. You have to have some kind of transportation (we had a motorbike) or arrange for the owners to drive you around. It was pretty quiet, except for birds and insects at night, but that didn't bother us.

We were charged more for an already expensive meal, you should look around (there are places) even just for breakfast. The place is falling apart, no maintainance. Bed was very hard and cheap. Maybe you can survive as a group bringing food and good vibes with you. On the plus side you can set up a fire just in front of your hut

This was an incredible night. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, even going to the shops a few times to pick things up for us. The pad thai was the best we've had in 3 months in Thailand. Food was well-priced, they even gave us pomelo for free! The location is very remote, you really do feel at one with nature. They even drove us all to erawan waterfall (for a very reasonable price). Overall, they were so accommodating and friendly, despite language barriers. We shared a lot of laughs and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
