Farmstay Okakeua

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, unglaublich leckeres Essen (es gab Oryx-Filet von einem Tier vom Bauernhof), sehr schöne und sehr gut ausgestattete Räume.

Our host was super friendly and helpful with everything we asked for. She cooked wonderful meals and told us a lot about her farm!

Merisa is the perfect host and made us feel so welcome into her beautiful home. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the sundowner drive is a must!

From the friendly welcome from our hostess until our departure the next day we were charmed by this oasis. The two rooms are very tastefully furnished. Lovely bathrooms. Set in a beautiful garden. We took a game drive around the property. And then we were treated to a fantastic dinner. Breakfast was wonderful also.

Nothing at all. Perfect stay and a second night would have been lovely if possible.

Insgesamt war es einfach eine fantastische Erfahrung. Merisa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Das von ihr selbstgekochte Dinner ebenso wie das Frühstück sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen! Die Unterkunft fühlt sich sehr familiär und persönlich an. Auch die abendliche Fahrt über das Gelände mit der Chance Zebras, Giraffen und Antilopen zu sehen und als Highlight einem super schönen Sundowner war eine tolle Ergänzung des Aufenthaltes.

Wir hatten nichts zu meckern, alles war perfekt :)

We are so happy to have spent our last night in Namibia at Okakeua Farm— that way we ended our vacation on an absolute high! From the moment we arrived Merisa made us feel so very welcome. We enjoyed our conversations and are so thankful for the care we were given. Everything was thought of to even the smallest detail in the room as well as the decorations at dinner and breakfast. These home cooked meals prepared with ingredients from the farm were delicious. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet night on the Namibian countryside :)

We had the pleasure of staying at Farm Okakeua, and it was an unforgettable experience. Merisa is an incredibly warm and welcoming host who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Her hospitality is unmatched—she took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The meals she prepared were absolutely delicious, and her attention to detail made everything even more special. During our visit, we were the only guests on the farm, which gave us a truly private and peaceful experience. The wildlife around the farm was spectacular. We were lucky to spot giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and springboks in their natural habitat, creating memories we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a unique and serene getaway surrounded by stunning nature and an incredible host, Farm Okakeua is the perfect choice. Thank you, Merisa, for making our stay so memorable!

This farm stay is wonderful. We spent 1 night on our way back to Windhoek from Etosha NP. Merisa goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort and provides well-prepared meals. Very generous! Thank you so much!

Merisa is an amazing host! Extremely welcoming, shared travel stories, some hunting stories and showed us around her backyard. The three-course dinner (came at an extra cost, cooked by Merisa) was well worth the money! The breakfast (included with the booking) was also delicious. Comfortable beds & warm shower - everything we could hope for.
