Lovely location, excellent rooms, very nice swimming pool but open to the public thus it gets busy, excellent lunch and dinner at the restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Annalisa! She is a star!

No much really, a part for the clear lack of organisation at time. Although we booked for dinner waaay in advance, however when we arrived at 8.30 pm, after staying all afternoon at the swimming pool, they didn’t have our table!!! The restaurant was packed, and to find a table for 11 seemed impossible...no body explained what was going on...nobody wanted to take responsibility...nor they offered us a drink whilst waiting as they were trying to sort things out....they just panicked! Eventually they set our table in a lovely area of the garden but far away from the main restaurant so, we were a bit ‘forgotten’E.g. We had to go and ask for water and wine! They eventually offered couple of grappa and one sambuca at the end which was nice of them. They didn’t have couple of things from the menu , which is understandable BUT it would have been helpful to know that at the start. The day after, I noticed people ordering piadine and salads for lunch by the swimming pool. All the ordering system and the general organisation seemed a bit shambolic, apparently ingredients were finished and they only had couple of options.People seemed a bit frustrated. I didn’t have food at the swimming pool so I cannot comment further. Breakfast was ok. Can be improved in terms of variety e.g. more /different cakes or fresh bread, brioches, home made jam etc
