Tarangini Farmstay

Very peaceful and re-energising stay in the nature's lap. Very homely.

Natural setting among vegetation and lake adjoining the facility.

At this price point, getting this location, next to a clean river and farms, is exceptional. The room and bathroom were both clean, comfortable and well appointed. Food was nice and customized. We asked for non spicy while our driver requested for spicy. They made both. There was a hot water kettle, and a geyser. The balcony, the waterside bamboo clump with a hammock ... the walk in the farm, with bleeting lamb and a puppy in tow ... precious memories.

The caretaker needs at least basic training in hospitality and etiquette. The Manager and owner were not there, and the level of service was reflective of that. Dealing with a bad approach road from Mandu, having to specify that we'll pay separately for an additional breakfast item, and not having the extra cot ready even at a 9 pm arrival, weren't nice. The staff behaviour in these situations could have helped. Instead, we were met with unnecessary argument and attitude. But the peace and beauty of the place outweighs these small issues. There are 2 steps in the room, which might not be very easy for accessibility and safety. The bathroom is a small step up. Rest of the areas are accessible. There was a smell of insect repellent chemicals at the bedside.

We really enjoyed the location and the people. Raghu was super welcoming and accommodating. We loved watching the sunset and waking up to the sounds of birds. We got to pick the vegetables from the garden for dinner and had delicious freshly-cooked meals with freshly made roti.

The serene ambience and the staff and amenities were exceptional. A proper farm stay vibe. Looking for peace and cut out from the city life, this would be one of the best places I would recommend.
