"enjoy thoroughly, lovely experience, would like to comeback again for a longer stay and explore more ."

away from the madding crowd & crowded area which I was looking for . surrounded by paddy fields & canals, clean air . was beautiful experience, homely food was available whenever I asked for.all in all it was good experience , cycles were available too for roaming around.

room were basic but clean & neat. curtains were not proper I thought because they were not covering/overlapping properly , so privacy was an issue if someone is on the deck on canal side .

"Lucky find. Good value. Memorable stay. Lovely people."

Staff family of Rahul, Maya, Siya and Ashwin took good care of me. I arrived in the afternoon and walked around on the aquaduct and the neighbor's fields. I watched and listened to the birds. The moonlit skies and stars made for a pleasant night. Maheshwar and Mandu opened up parts of the regional history of dynasties and courageous women. I was inspired by the stories of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar and her leadership. The recommended taxi driver Anand Patil picked me from Indore and dropped me back at Indore, but boarded me on a bus to Ujjain the next evening. This unplanned short night detour helped me check off the popular Kalbhairav, Mahakal lok and Mahakaleshwar temple on what appears to be on 'must see' lists for this part of India. The room was comfortable. And I enjoyed the lotus pad in the stream; a version of Monet's water lilies. Maya made fresh tasty sumptuous food and served it with affection. I went out at 4.30 ish towards Maheshwar. Enjoyed the river side temple and the Ahilyabai museum and the handloom, but missed the boat ride to Sahasradara.

I made the best of what Taringini offered. I interacted with the local village boys and workers. And the other guests who joined later in the evening for an outdoor dinner. There was nothing much to complain about. It was a relaxed pace for me. And I enjoyed the personal touches of hospitality from Maya. This however is a location only for those with personal transportation (car or bike). A map of this area with some key centers of interest in the common lunch room would be handy to orient visitors. And tips on timings for sight seeing.
