The kids had a blast getting up every morning to help feed the emus and alpacas and chickens. The goose was a hit, especially when he stood guard over the big dog and charged them whenever you got close!

This was such a fantastic stay! The house is spotless, comfortable, and quaint. The property is nestled away in a quiet part of town amongst vineyards and farmland. At the same time, it is not far (perhaps 5 minutes away) from groceries, stores, restaurants, etc. It is perfect for a weekend get-away or longer. The property was so incredibly well-stocked and the hosts are very thoughtful in leaving things in the house that one would need (kitchen items, basic groceries, etc.) We enjoyed being able to wake up and see horses and other farm animals just outside the window. Speaking of which: We were also able to go horseback riding on the property, guided by the host's family. Information on how to do this is on the property's website. It was just a lovely experience all around. Highly recommend!

The property is amazing, great location and we loved the animals

the toaster, grill coffee maker started smoking after we tried to toast a piece of bread- I read in the amazon reviews that this is very common- I would not have it there if it doesn't work. it looks great for decoration. wish we could pet the animals.

The rustic atmosphere of being on a small working ranch and the remote location. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. No city or highway noise. Amenities were great in the room.

Mattress was somewhat uncomfortable and the undisclosed $60.00 cleaning fee.
