The Buteland Stop Rosie off grid Shepherds Hut

Glorious location and easy to find; good instructions. Excellent hospitable service from Brian; so helpful & conscientious. Loved the ease of it; turn up, unpack and get going. Excellently convenient for Hadrian’s Wall exploring.

Updated bedding, linen & towels; duvet & pillows would make it significantly more comfortable. Could have better kitchen equipment & better quality. Could have been cleaner. Bit grimy.

Loved the location and the peace and quiet

Not the property‘s fault but it tanked down and was freezing cold. I couldn’t get the log fire to fire up so was pretty chilled

Cosy and well equipped for a short break

Location was outstanding beautiful 360 % veiws and very central for what we wanted to do. Shepperds hut was lovely what you'd expect from that type of accommodation. Brien the owner was very helpful and a really nice guy.

Could do with a bit of an upgrade ie bedding could do with updating was quite old. Towels were very hard. Could also do with a spring clean drawers and cupboards needed washing out. Just needed a little bit of TLC if that was carried out would be a beautiful little hut.

Beautiful location and the Rosie Shepgerds hut was simply adorable , ideal for a breakaway . Clean , comfortable and the Hosts were very friendly and helpful . Highly recommend !
