Gecko Rock Private Nature Reserve

The scenery, the silence, the trails that we walked, the break from cell phones, emails, social media, etc. We walked the Seattle trail, glad that I did not put my vehicle through this route. We understand that the trails have been driven by 4x4 vehicles two weeks before our stay, but whoever drove that trail, knew what they were doing!

The wind was blowing more than usual, and we were a bit concerned that the coals of the fire could be blown into the veld. Wind protection for all three bungalows is highly recommended.

The location was great - extremely scenic and tranquil.

The pool was really dirty and not usable.

Privacy and view, especially in the night. You can see the stars again 🤩 No wifi or cell service in cottage, for off grid perfect.
