Beautiful quiet location with amazing views and a safe, secure field for dogs.

A simple, but comfortable little hut, clean and simply equipped. We didn’t use the internal log burner nor the external brazier/barbecue, however everything was provided, had we chosen to do so. Best of all, Pen Bryn is located in some lovey, careful planting from Rosa rugosa to what amounts to a small arboretum. The view is breathtaking, south facing and with a generous lawn and some thoughtfully mowed pathways leading further up the hill for an even wider panorama. Wildlife everywhere; a tawny owl at night and blackbirds and songthrushes on the lawn by day. We visited in late May with exceptionally good weather.

Some might wish for a microwave?

Loved everything about Pen Bryn, the location is exquisite, such a tranquil place with spectacular scenery. The hut contains exactly you’d need for a cosy stay, even has a wood burning stove. It was all delightful. Thank you Karen!

Quiet peacefully location with lovely views.

Temperature of hot water was temperamental.

The hut was clean and well maintained, set on a beautiful site with stunning views and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was very helpful.

We stayed during hot weather and the hut got very hot.

Location was good and fenced off private plot good for the dog.

Would have liked curtains on all the windows
