Absolutely stunning, most welcoming a home away from home

Absolutely nothing!

The location was beyond beautiful, with panoramic views and our hosts were warm and inviting. They made us feel right at home. Our villa was everything we could have imagined and more! It was beautifully painted and decorated inside with a breathtaking view from every window. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and luxurious beauty products for our use.

Cretaiole exceeded our expectations a lot, and it's because of Nicco and his family. We stayed in the 6-person apartment for 3 days. There are all the things you need for a good stay, such as Moca kettle for a refreshing morning. We used it every day and it's a good pleasure. Besides, we love the breakfast basket (extra pay required). There're fresh fruits, homemade yogurt, bread, corn flakes inside, feeding us for the 3 days (we ate a lot lol). The activities they offer are also attractive and interesting, we chose the farm tour with Nicco and it's interesting to know more about how they do farming and how they raise the animals. Also it's our pleasure to know more about the family history. Many thanks to Nicco and his family for alllllll the things during our stay. The tiramisu Nicco made is the best one we have during our trip in Italy.

Sometimes birds would stay in the apartment and fight with each other, leaving a pile of feathers. (it's not a complaint. It's an interesting experience for us to live with them, but someone might be allergic to feathers.

This place surpassed all expectations. Staying at Cretaiole Agroturismo is a soul-stirring experience. The 14th-century farmhouse is an architectural masterpiece, beautifully preserved with its original stone walls and rustic wooden beams, perfectly blending historical charm with modern comfort. The grounds are simply breathtaking. Perched atop a hill in the heart of Val d’Orcia, the property offers panoramic views of rolling vineyards and olive groves that look like a living painting. The atmosphere is one of absolute serenity and timeless beauty. What truly sets Cretaiole apart, however, is the unmatched hospitality. The hosts Carlo, Leonie and Nicco, treat you like family, offering personalized recommendations and authentic experiences that you won't find in any guidebook. Their warmth and dedication transform a simple stay into a lifelong memory. Verdict: 10/10. If you want the true essence of Tuscany, this is it.

Excellent location in extremely beautiful countryside. Nice staff, lovely room. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

Bed frame made loads of noise. It was antique and pretty, but very noisy.
