The wonderfully quaint and super cute cottage has everything you need, and nothing you don't. It felt so connected to the past and to the land. It reminded me of the old farmhouse I grew up in. Bonus: great garden birding!

A really lovely spacious cottage, with beautiful views and the bonus of the most amazing, friendly and caring hosts! The little village is small but interesting with a few coffee shops and has a short historical walk. What more could you ask for!?

Watermill Farm is a hidden gem with beautiful views. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, this is the place. Russel and Janine have packed the unit with all the necessary amenities and with so much attention to detail. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and were quick to respond to our needs. There are diverse bird species in the farm and you can arrange for a guided walk which was a great learning experience for me (pack binoculars for the bird walk). If you love swimming, a dam is just a minute away from your unit. We loved every moment spent in the farm and we cannot wait to return.

The location, the people.

Un lieu, un logement, des hôtes exceptionnels: parfait pour une retraite, la contemplation, pour se ressourcer dans un environnement calme, paisible, au plus près de la nature et un peu hors du temps. Pas de nuisances sonores. Uniquement le vent dans les arbres, les oiseaux et parfois les oies qui passent. Un logement rustique (mais avec tout le confort nécessaire pour se sentir bien), rénové et meublé avec beaucoup de goût qui fait qu'on se sent comme chez soi. Bref, un lieu charmant qui donne l'impression de se trouver dans une ferme du temps des pionniers ( avec néanmoins les avantages des temps modernes). Pour moi, cela reste un séjour inoubliable et j'espère avoir l'occasion d'y revenir. Encore un très grand merci à Janine et Russel pour leur accueil si chaleureux et discret.
