It’s quite difficult to get to. If you’re in a small car, it can be quite the strain (especially the gravel roads). Also, we were in a self catering apartment, with the hopes of buying supplies in the area. The nearest shops are about 25 km away, quite inconvenient.

Shower jumps from hot to cold very happy it was summer must be frustrating on a cold day. Catering was not clear if you staying upstairs in the middle of nowhere you have no fridge warming facilities etc therefore if you are unprepared you have no dinner as we experienced on day 1 🙈 Only some rooms have catering facilities so do your homework

ZAWe thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days at Weltevreden Farm. Our room was extremely clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we could possibly need, and it was serviced daily. The view was exceptional – rolling hills dotted with sheep and cows made for a truly peaceful stay. We highly recommend Thyme Out at Weltevreden Farm; it is genuinely one of the best places we have stayed.

ZALove this venue! Didn’t realize how spacious the rooms would be - we would have shared if we knew haha!
ZAThe breakfast was very disappointing. It was so small. 1 slice of bread each. We had to ask for more. 1 piece of bacon cut in 2. Literally 1 teaspoon of mushroom.
No kitchen sink in our kitchen area. We had to use the bathroom basin or main kitchen. This was an inconvenience.
